ECU Mapping
One of the best ways to make the most of any engine modification is to use aftermarket engine management to optimise fuelling and ignition timing and achieve the maximum capability of the engine. This is done through the use of 'maps' which are individually created for each car, and achieved by running the engine through every permissible point in it's range using the rolling road or engine dyno.
It is worth remembering that if you modify your engine, the standard ECU will not be set up to work in the new parameters you have built in to the engine. It is not as expensive as you think to change over to aftermarket management, and once installed it can be easily tweaked to suit future engine upgrades. For more information, please contact us.
Engine Mapping Specialists
As an engine management specialist, our preferred systems are MBE, DTA, and OMEX, and we have mapping boxes and latest software packages, although we are experienced with many other systems and can work with almost any providing the software is readily available. We are also one of the original WEBER ALPHA mapping centres, and are one of the few remaining who can still work on the old "ALPHA" and "ALPHA PLUS" systems (however we do advise that it may be more economical to upgrade to newer systems).
As a dealer for Weber Alpha, MBE, OMEX and DTA we are able to offer excellent prices on ECU's, and well as package deals on fitment and build of custom wiring looms to suit any application. We have successfully undertaken many ambitious projects in recent times - including the fitment of DTA to a 2.8l BMW rally car with VANOS - so if you have any special projects in the pipeline and need some advice please contact us and we will try to help you out!
